My home will be extremely efficient in heating and cooling. So basically I'll have the ceramic paint on the outside, closed-cell spray-foam on the inside, and I want a green roof on top (ISBU can easily hold the weight). Another relatively new insulation material that also acts as a sound proofing material. But I like the idea of a thin coat of closed-cell spray-foam insulation. As an experienced CAD user, coming into NX was one mind-blowing realisation after the next - that everything I knew about modelling was wrong. NX on the other hand, has dozens of these tools, each more dizzyingly powerful than the last.

Supposedly the ceramic paint is a good sound proofer too. Solidworks actually does have a pitifully small number of them, move face and delete face, which it actually had to license from Siemens to even include. The one concern I thought of that no one has really mentioned is the fact that if you threw a little rock at the side of the container it would make a very load noise inside. It's quit ideal for ISBU containers since it adheres well to metal surfaces and it forms a water proof barrier to help prevent corrosion (which is very low in ISBU containers because the type of steel used).
But for the most part on what I've read with people building their own ISBU homes they have used this new technology called ceramic insulation paints & coatings.
A lot of people have that same question because if you ever walked into a ISBU container during the Summer is is quit ridiculous how hot they get inside.
